Mapped Projections

Mapping at blinc

Every year the Tudor Mansion Plas Mawr becomes one of the main events at the festival. The building was painstakingly photographed to produce a frame work for some of the most beautiful animated 3D projections at the event. This year Plas Mawr will play homage to the Centenary of the Suffrage movement, by using Elizabeth the 1st as a symbol for feminine power. In blinc11, the team also mapped the front side of Conwy Castle. A huge undertaking, providing the centre piece to the first festival. For blinc12, The Chapel was transformed into a fairly intimate projection screen showcasing some of the most successful pieces in the festival. We also mapped a double Decker bus! This year we plan to visit different locations, but please have a look at some images of the previous festivals below..
