About blinc CIC

blinc was set up in 2011, to run alongside Conwy Feast. Conwy Feast is one of the largest and most successful Food Festivals in Wales. The initial idea was to create an arts festival that would give the visitor a chance to see art works after the Feast closed at the end of the day.

Hi-tech projection equipment was bought in to illuminate the Castle walls, and artists were commissioned to produce pieces that were inspired by the medieval town.

This is the 3rd blinc, and yet again we offer a large selection of artworks by several international artists. The whole of the town will become a gallery space, with Plas Mawr, The Castle, The Quay and various other locations offering an eclectic mix of artworks. This years highlights include a Laser Bridge of Light, An installation inspired by Dylan Thomas, a tribute to The Suffrage Movement, along side a Pop-Up Art Cinema and site specific commissions from several emerging and established artists. We have projections, installations, performance, dance and poetry and its all free.

blinc is a registered CIC. Registered In England And Wales No 8113256
